    Out with the old, in with the new: Aircrew gets new anti-smoke goggles

    For more than 20 years the ASGs have been a basic four part system, until now. With innovation, the new ASGs are now a three-part system. The suspension frame itself is still made the same with the nape pad attached, while the goggles and oxygen mask portion have been upgraded.

    Army, Air Force work together for Swift Response 19

    Swift Response 19 is one of the premier military crisis response training events featuring high readiness airborne forces. Activities include intermediate staging base operations, multiple airborne operations, and several air assault operations.

    815th Airlift Squadron delivers during Swift Response 19

    For exercise Swift Response 19, military members across two continents work as a team to conduct training to increase the participating nations’ readiness, capabilities and capacity to conduct full spectrum military operations. They use combined training which fosters trust, increases interoperability, and enables allies to readily and effectively respond to regional crises and meet their own national defense goals.

    Reserve Citizen Airmen hunt hurricanes

    This specialized unit of Reserve Citizen Airmen is made up of a five-person crew consisting of a pilot, co-pilot, navigator, aerial reconnaissance weather officer, and loadmaster who is also the dropsonde operator.
