WWII veteran Maj. Thomas Dewey Adams Jr. was promoted during a ceremony presided over by Col. Stuart Rubio, 403rd Wing commander, in his home in Pass Christian, April 29, 2022. Rubio presented Adams with a certificate and set of Major Oak Leaf rank during the ceremony. Adams received his honorary promotion to Major 55 years after he retired from service.
