Maintenance Group welcomes new commander

Lt. Col. Steven W. Fortson assumed command of the 403rd Maintenance Group, October 4, 2020 in the Roberts Consolidated Maintenance Facility Auditorium, Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. Fortson was installed by Col. Jeffrey Van Dootingh, 403rd Wing commander during the ceremony. The 403rd MXG is responsible for the launch, recovery and routine care of 10 C-130J and 10 WC-130J Super Hercules aircraft in support of tactical airlift missions and the only Department of Defense aerial weather reconnaissance mission.
