Normal Is Good

Maj. Gen. Martin Mazick, Air Force Reserve Command vice commander, in Washington speaks at a press conference May 21 about the training 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron routinely does in order to prepare Hurricane Season. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predicts the 2009 season, which begins June 1, will have a 70 percent chance of having nine to 14 named storms, of which four to seven could become hurricanes, including one to three major hurricanes (Category 3, 4 or 5).
