Happy Birthday Air Force

Members of Team Keesler join hands as they cut the cake commemorating the Air Force's 59th birthday, during a ceremony here at Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. On Sept. 18, 1947 Harry S. Truman, 33rd president, established the Air Force after lessons learned from World Wars I and II. Celebrating the event from left to right: Brig. Gen. Richard Moss, commander, 403rd Wing; retired Chief Master Sgt. Adrien Augustine representing retired veterans; Senior Airman Jake Gard representing Air National Guardsmen; Staff Sgt. Shelby McKay, 41st Aerial Port Squadron, representing Air Force Reservists; and Brig. Gen. Paul Capasson, 81st Training Wing commander. Other Team Keesler representatives not pictured are: 1st Lt.
