With the holidays quickly approaching, I wanted to share a few thoughts before 2019 comes to an end.

First, I want to thank each and every one of you for all that you do. From multiple deployments to humanitarian aid to community service, your list of accomplishments is truly astonishing -- and too long to list here!  I, and your country, appreciate all that you've done and continue to do.

Second, I want to extend my gratitude for the warm welcome my family and I received since our arrival to the Gulf Coast.  You have adopted a clan of Buckeyes and made us feel at home.  I can’t tell you how much it means to us to be a part of your extended Air Force family.  It is absolutely my honor and privilege to be your commander, and I look forward to your continued success as we face tomorrow's challenges.

Third, please take some time this season to spend with family, friends, and other loved ones.  Recharge your batteries -- you'll need the renewed energy since I'm counting on you to continue to do great things next year.  And don’t forget to acknowledge those who enable you to achieve such greatness.

On a final note, Diana and I wish you and your loved ones a joyous, safe, and blessed holiday season followed by a very happy, successful, and healthy New Year!  See you in 2020 for more flying, fighting, and winning.
