403rd Wing announces quarterly award winners

Sunday the 403rd Wing announced its quarterly award winners for the July 1 through Sept. 30 award period. Winners were chosen in the Airman, noncommissioned officer, senior noncommissioned officer, company grade officer, first sergeant and civilian categories.

 

Airman of the Quarter – Senior Airman Krystal Hernandez from the 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron. Hernandez was recognized for managing command support staff functions and deployment requirements during her supervisor’s absence and also organizing a school supply drive that raised more than $1,000 in supplies for local Biloxi schools.

 

NCO of the Quarter – Tech. Sgt. Felicia Johnson from the 403rd Aeromedical Staging Squadron. Johnson was recognized for ensuring fitness assessment accuracies of more than 75 members and also helping collect relief supplies for wing members affected by the Baton Rouge flooding in August.

 

Senior NCO of the Quarter – Master Sgt. Justin Moses from the 403rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. Moses was recognized for overseeing more than 500 maintenance actions and six hurricane taskings and also donating more than $3,000 in toys, clothing and goods to the Salvation Army. 

 

CGO of the Quarter – Capt. Hailey Davis from the 403rd Aeromedical Staging Squadron. Davis was recognized for coordinating the 403rd Wing’s Green Dot training, ensuring deployment readiness of 565 members and also leading community outreach during a medical mission to Haiti.

 

First Sergeant of the Quarter – Master Sgt. Deblair Tate from the 403rd Aeromedical Staging Squadron. Tate was recognized for revamping the unit’s family care program, educating members on regulations and policies and also working with the Big Sister organization to advise more than 60 teens on military career opportunities and college enrollment.

 

Civilian of the Quarter – Kimberly Doyle from the 403rd Operations Group. Doyle was recognized for guiding wing members on government travel card and automated time and attendance system procedures and also mentoring base youth at the Keesler Child Development Center.
