ST. CROIX, U.S. Virgin Islands -- Members of 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron deployed here July 27 - August 1 to fly through the remnants of Dorian. Hurricane Hunter aircrews flew WC-130J aircraft into the tropical wave to gather storm data used by the National Hurricane Center to determine whether Dorian was breaking up or reforming into a more intensified storm.
