Flying Jennies soar through Smoky Mountains

Members of the 815th Airlift Squadron, Flying Jennies, conduct low level training flights through the Tennessee Smoky Mountains in a C-130J Super Hercules during June 2023. The 815th AS is a tactical airlift unit tasked with the capability of resupplying the forces, provide for their airlift requirements and employment operations within the combat zone or forward areas, and when requested, provide aeromedical/refugee evacuation and augment strategic airlift forces.
