Wing announces fourth quarter award winners

The 403rd Wing announced its fourth quarter award winners for the Oct. 1 through Dec. 30 period. Winners were chosen in the Airman, noncommissioned officer, senior NCO, company and field grade officer.

 

Airman of the Quarter: Senior Airman Paul Johnson

Unit: 403rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron

Duty title: Crew Chief

Years of service: 1

Latest accomplishment: “Having the opportunity to support the 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron during the atmospheric river missions flying out of California and Oregon.”

 

NCO of the Quarter: Tech. Sgt. Raven Crockett

Unit: 403rd Logistics Readiness Squadron

Duty title: Quality Assurance NCO in charge

Years of service: 10

Latest accomplishment: “My latest accomplishment was conquering single-parenting while my husband was deployed. I maintained the home front and our girls.”  

 

SNCO of the Quarter: Master Sgt. Katie Williams

Unit: 803rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron

Duty: Instrument and Flight Control Systems Craftsman

Latest accomplishment: “Having the opportunity to be currently supporting the 815th Airlift Squadron for the exercise in the Pacific.”

 

CGO of the Quarter: Capt. William Simmons

Unit: 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron

Duty title: Current Operations Officer

Latest accomplishment: “Being the aircraft commander during a Reserve Airlift Support for the Air Force Academy’s lacrosse team and moving 12,000 pounds of cargo from Niagara Falls, New York to MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.”

Latest accomplishment: “Currently supporting flying the operations and representing the 815th AS for the exercise in the Pacific.”

Latest accomplishment: “Being certified to facilitate the Four Lenses and have the opportunity to support resiliency training during 81st Training Wing First Term Airman Courses.”

 

Civilian of the Quarter Category II: Nicholas Schiro

Unit: 403rd Maintenance Squadron

Duty title: Aircraft Fuel Systems Craftsman

Years of service: 17

Latest accomplishment: “Being recognized by my group commander as a top performer in the wing exercise Operation Southern Comfort and supporting atmospheric river missions out of California.”
