The wing selected winners in the Airman, noncommissioned officer, senior NCO, company and field grade officer and civilian categories. Airman of the Quarter: Airman 1st Class Derrick Bourgeois Unit: 403rd Security Forces Squadron Duty title: Security Forces Journeyman Years of service: One Latest accomplishment: “I made the Academic Honor Roll for this semester at Southeastern University,” he said. “I also just got engaged.” NCO of the Quarter: Tech. Sgt. Christopher Carranza Unit: 403rd Wing Public Affairs Duty title: Public Affairs Officer Trainee Years of service: 12 Latest accomplishment: Being retweeted by the President of the United States twice during Hurricane Dorian and having the opportunity to highlight all of the Reserve Citizen Airmen of the 403rd Wing on a daily basis. SNCO of the Quarter: Senior Master Sgt. Jeremy Coleman Unit: 5th Operational Weather Flight Duty: Superintendent Years of service: 19 Latest accomplishment: “I recently completed the initials skills course in Air Operations Center, combat division at Hurlburt Field, Florida,” he said. “It was a very challenging, but enlightening course. Having the opportunity to be integrated with a majority of pilots gave better insight into flying operations and a strategic mindset.” CGO of the Quarter: Capt. Shane Everhart Unit: 815th Airlift Squadron Duty title: Chief of Tactics Years of service: Seven Latest accomplishment: “Recently completing the Aircraft Mishap Investigator Course at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico and being the chief planner and participating in Arctic Anvil,” he said. The 815th AS provided airlift and airdrop support for the U.S. Army’s Joint Forces Exercise Arctic Anvil earlier this year. FGO of the Quarter: Lt. Col. Marnee Losurdo Unit: 403rd Wing Public Affairs Duty title: Chief of Public Affairs Years of service: 22 Latest accomplishment: “The 403rd Wing Public Affairs Office earned the Air Force Reserve Command Brig. Gen. Harry J. Dalton Jr. Award for communication excellence this year. It’s an honor to do this job everyday as I really enjoy the work and people I work with, but it was really nice to have command recognize the office’s efforts in highlighting unit reservists’ accomplishments to the media and public,” she said. In addition, she earned the AFRC Outstanding Communication FGO Award for 2019. Civilian of the Quarter Category I: Crystal Jones Unit: 815th AS Duty title: Unit Program Manger Years of service: Three Latest accomplishment: “Being promoted to the rank of master sergeant,” she said. “I’m both honored and proud that my leadership recognized me being a worthy senior NCO.” Civilian of the Quarter Category II: Cody Seymour Unit: 403rd Fabrication Flight Duty title: Aircraft Structural Technician Years of service: 13 Latest accomplishment: “Buying my own airplane,” he said. “I’m in the process of building my own airplane from a recently purchased airplane kit and using my skillset I hope to have it built, this time next year.” Seymour is also a private pilot and said he hopes to be able to fly to work instead of driving in the future.
