"Fini Flight" for 403d Operations Group commander
Col. Brian May, 403rd Operations Group commander, completed his "fini flight" in a WC-130J Super Hercules today May 10, 2019, and received the first soaking from his youngest son, Dario, who got paid back when dad grabbed him up to get soaked as they both ended up drenched by May's wife, Kathy. He has been the 403rd OG commander since August 2016 and was responsible for the readiness and effectiveness of the 5th and 12th Operational Weather Flights, 36th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, the 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron, and the 815th Airlift Squadron.
