403rd Civil Engineering Squadron fire fighters respond to a simulated call during a structural fire exercise held at the Air National Guard Combat Readiness Training Center in Gulfport, Miss., during the April unit training assembly. Training Day
Firefighters with the 403rd Civil Engineer Squadron navigated a Keesler AFB pumper truck through a challenging seven-station driving course marked with pylons in preparation for certification tests scheduled for March UTA. In addition to the driving course, firefighters must also demonstrate knowledge of the truck's features and how to operate the vehicle in a flightline firefighting situation.

Rapid Runway Repair

Using a combination of heavy equipment, Airmen from the squadron quickly filled the "bomb" crater with gravel and smoothed it over.
