2/22/2012 - Military members and their families from along the Gulf Coast were treated to military appreciation night at the Mississippi Surge hockey game Feb. 18 when they took on the Pensacola Ice Flyers. The 403rd Wing Recruiting Service served as a game sponsor. As a 'thank you' to the Wing, the Surge presented a game jersey right off the back of one of it's players, Christian Kuqali, at the conclusion of the third period. The 403rd Logistics Readiness Squadron commander, Maj. Rodney McCraine, his family (wife Sarah, children Ethan, Jake, Katie and Emma), and Alex, son of the 403rd Wing chief of Public Affairs, accepted the jersey from Kuqali. (U.S. Air Force photo by Maj.
